1964 Firewall tag

Does the “2L” designation on the firewall tag for a 64 F-85 denote a four-speed, or manual transmission in general?

Not sure for 64, but for 65-66 2L on the Fisher Body data plate denoted floor was punched for a 4 speed (M20/21). 2B indicated the floor was punched for a 3 speed (M 14)

My 64 lists the 2L for a four speed.
