1965 442 California built

My question is....on a 1965 442 built in California....was the “Top Hat” oil cover painted black or was it Silver Zinc plated?

The same question for the Power Steering Cap....was it painted black or Silver Zinc Plated. I see them both ways....again this is a California Built 1965 442.

Thank you,

Dan

Top hat should be black. Brake MC cover should be zinc dichromate.

What color would the single full length stripe be on the upper radiator hose? Blue? Yellow? White?

Thank for the pictures

These clips were used on the Fremont Buick’s and Oldsmobiles. Inner fender clips holding down the cable and harness.

Fusick Bronze it will be.....your engine bay looks Fantastic.

It is great when car guys reach out and help other car guys....this is what attracted me to this hobby of ours 40 years ago....I am glad it is still attracting me to this day.

Thank you Jason.
