1967442Guy

I really someone's help here. I can't seem to find the correct headlight bezel for a 1967 442. So, I have 2 questions. 1) Does anyone has any suggestions to where to look for some. 2) If not, is there any way that the Cutlass version can be utilized in any way. I guy I talked to in Michigan yesterday said that he heard that a guy inverted them and drill a new hole for the turn signal with the open notch on the outside of the frame. Does anybody know if this would work?

Cutlass ones work without modifications, people invert them so the Cutlass slot is hidden and it sorta resembles the non slotted 442 bezel.... Cutlass headlight doors are plentiful.... I have extras as well.

Thanks for replying. Quick question though. When you say invert them. Do you mean to switch the left bezel with right bezel or rotate them where the bottom becomes the new top.

I have never actually done this but I know new holes are needed, not sure of procedure, I thought you just turned it upside-down and made new holes but perhaps they are switched from side to side...

A friend actually started doing this on his 67. You just switch them side to side and drill the new hole.
