Stock wheel ID

I have a 2001 Alero GL four door with the 6"x6-1/2" six spoke silver sparkle wheels. One is bent quite badly and I would like to replace it. The problem is there seems to be mixed information on the net as to which wheel ID# is appropriate. I do not have my original sticker from when I bought it and I cannot find any link to look up my original features as I was able to do in the past. I think I am looking for wheel #6056. There seems to have been different offsets so this is important.
Any help would be greatly appreciated, especially if someone can give me a link to look up my VIN# features.

You could go to your deck lid and pull the RPO codes, and then go here.

On wheels they are very generic, but it is a big help on other codes!
Also if you go back one post on the Aleros there is a gent looking go to the PY0 code wheels and maybe looking to shed his QD1 wheels?

Thanks for the response, but I am missing where to find the RPO code. I have a feeling my label may be missing as the hood has been replaced from an accident many years ago.

Sometimes the RPO codes are located on the underside of the deck lid. On other models they could be located on the rear of the drivers door below the production tag.

I think the RPO code label was on the cardboard spare tire cover under the trunk carpeting in my front drive Oldsmobiles: 95 Cutlass 98 Intrigue.

That is exactly where they were hiding. Thanks.

Are you looking for the 15" or 16" wheel? I think that's the difference in the RPO codes.

16" and I was able to secure one for a reasonable, to me, price.

Funny how this 16" wheel has something like four different codes and the RPO decoder does not specify which is appropriate. I hit a few references to the '01 as being 6056 so that's what I went with.

Thanks again,

Now I just need to order door glass clips, a regulator, windshield trim,........
