Carb to fuel pump line

I was jumping my roommates car today and i noticed that the carb was leaking gas from where i have my rubber hose (due to a crappy hose clamp. So when i swapped out the clamp i noticed that the end going into the carb seemed to be leaking a little bit too. So i tightened it some and then I really noticed a problem... the fuel line was turning easier than before ><. I went online to go buy a new from carb to fuel pump line and noticed there are at least 2 different kinds. Does anyone know what line to buy for my engine?

I love using the Right detail company, as i used them for my brake system and they lined up 99% perfectly. My fuel pump is one of those 3 outlet ones and it goes to a 455.

I know there is BB and SB versions. And, different routings also.

And the ones from the Nameless vendor did not fit right.

Can you make do with a used one?

You should stay away from rubber hoses between the fuel pump and the carb. Use metal tubing to avoid catching your car on fire because a rubber hose split or melted.

Try this web site:

Some of the fuel pumps used a 45 or 90 degree brass fitting and the fuel to carb line is bent. Either for a 180 90 or 45 degree...i think i bought mine years back from fusicks with for my 45 degree fitting i can check.....i still had to bend it a little i think

LOL, No the fuel line is from inline tube; just never used it, and for that hood, still have it. Are you going to make it to the Gulf Coast Oldsmobile show?

I am hoping that it is also just the line being old and not lining up like it should.

But if not I do have THEE best q-jet expert right here in San Antonio that can help me out with the problem if this doesnt work.

Sicky, give Danny a call. If your carb is leaking from the inlet, then, it can be helicoiled with a stainless steel insert. If you need that line just let me know.
