Replacing my 350 with a 455.. Any advice?

I have a '68 Cutlass with the original 350. I have picked up a '74, 455 engine. The engine just got back from the shop, bored out .30 over, new Keith Black pistons, RV type cam, all balanced, new Edelbrock heads & "Performer" intake. My goal is to have a strong daily driver, good low end torque, no 'real racing' ...just some fun stop light runs.

Trying to put together a shopping list and a to do list. Right now, my top questions are:
1. Exhaust manifolds. From my review work, I think I will be fine with some new exhaust manifolds. Fitment ok? Would like to do build my own dual exhaust system. Suggestions / input??? What to buy, best gaskets, etc ?
2. Carburetor. Already a bit worried that my new intake manifold is too tall. Considering an Edelbrock unit. Low profile? 650 cfm enough? Secondary suggestions?
3. Motor mounts. Looking at buying a new set of 350 mounts for this 455. Is that the best approach?

Any input is really appreciated. Knowledge is power. I hate to waste time or money.
Thx guys,
Bob

When I got my '69 442 it had a 350 in it but came with a '70 455 that needed work if I wanted it so I went for it.

The engine came with an Elderbrock Performer intake, 650 cfm carb and air cleaner set up. I reconditioned the engine(hone, rings, bearings, turn crank, new oil pump,etc..)and used everything off the 350 to drop the 455 in with very little issues.

I didn't get the 455 ex. manifolds so I went with Flowtech headers and Dynomax mufflers and put the dual exhaust together.(Note: move brake prop. valve)

The hood shuts with clearance and the car is a blast to drive.

I know you can go with a larger carb but for my needs it has plenty of torque and will smoke tires at will. She's not a show car, just a weekend toy
