Windage tray and hardware

Everyone fans of Mildon Windage trays? I do have the factory Toro tray. One better then other? If I go with the larger mildon can I use arp studs or do I have to buy the mildon hardware?

The Toro one is not a windage tray but more like a baffle. The Toro pan does not have a baffle like the stock pan and the bolt in tray takes its place.

You need a main bolt or stud with the seperate smaller stud on top. The Milodon tray is very effectve at controling crank windage

are both of these baffles specific to the toro motor and toro pan combo? They don’t fit w the ARP mains .

Those are Tornado pan specific and are designed to work with the factory hardware and pan.

I was using the Toronado oil pan with the rear baffle. Then installed ARP main studs and went to stock oil pan because they hit the Toro pan hump.

For 0over 50 years racers etc. have used a rosebud torch to flatten that hump in the Toro pan which is there to clear the front drive axle. Oil drain back is significantly improved, and that was the main deficiency to using the Toro pan for performance. Of course, adding baffles to the front and rear of the sump is a good idea too.

I should try that Run to Rund. I’d be nice to have the extra quart the Toro pan provides.
