Looking for a good chrome plating shop in the Detroit area
Hello, Does anyone have any recommendations regarding a good chrome plating shop in the metro Detroit area. I need the top plate on a air cleaner re chromed, thank you.

Chrome shops are hard to find now a days. There was a old school one in Lansing but they had a fire. They fought the fire with water and then the chemicals went in the storm drains. They evacuated a bunch of neighboring houses because I guess it was a bio hazard. A big deal!! Anyway there aren't many chrome shops around I think because of the newer requirements they must meet to get the license. I hope you find one and post it on here!

I use a source in Springfield, Ohio for plating, it's kinda close to you. It's true plating shops are hard to find that are affordable and do good work. I've never had any problems with them. I am sure they do not do the work. it is subbed out to someone else. You can try One Source Vintage at 937 325 7861.
