1966 442 4spd Tri Carb

With hesitation I am listing my 1966 442 (5V) 4spd Tri carb car for sale. I need to free up space (and the funds wouldn't hurt either).

I am listing here first for a week or two prior to listing to the general public.

Car is located just south of Birmingham, Al.

1966 4spd, tri carb, a/c, PS, PB and A/C. Also has working factory sidewinder tach.

This car has been in my family since 2013. I have a little history before that but not much. Cowl tag decodes as originally automatic so I have no idea when it was swapped to 4spd/tricarb.

I am NOT trying to claim this as a 100% original perfect car so please don't nitpick it to death.

Body and paint are very nice (not 1000 point show car)

Interior has some age but still in very good shape with minor imperfections (dash crack, carpet a bit sun faded, etc.)

Runs and drives as it should but has developed a slight (what I believe to be) lifter tick/tap above 2500-3000rpm.

Car also comes with original type wheels/tires shown in photo (tires are old redlines and need to be replaced).

Serious inquiries call or text to 205..420.-8311

I will try to be as transparent as possible, just ask. If I know I will tell you, if I don't I will tell you that as well.

I will start out asking $30k.. Certainly willing to discuss/negotiate with serious buyer.

definitely “J” forest mist poly olds used it 65-67 I believe and was called Sherwood green for pontiac from 65-67 or 66-67. not to be confused with the later ex. 70 olds Sherwood green

the Early gm WA3304 J code forest mist poly is one of the colors I really disliked in my younger years and were painted Black during repaints both my 66 olds and 67 Pontiac I had till early 2000s both became black girls, but the older I get the more I appreciate the color especially considering being ordered almost 60 years ago and with modern base clear and good painting techniques with the heavy metallic in many colors Including color, to avoid mottling, tiger stripping etc it really is imperative to know your material, equipment and have a solid technique down to cope with metallic issues that some newer and even so called experienced painted have.

best of luck with sale. She is calling me and pulling at me so I may reach out
