A 68 A/C four speed is rare as hell.... so rare that I don't think it was available....but hopefully Joe will chime in and let me know for sure....

I know the 68 442 order form says A/C wasn't available with an M21 or G82 or G92 which probably equate to 3:42 or lower gears so it must have only been available with an M20 or M13 and higher gear sets than 3:42.

There must have been a bulletin that over-rode the PIM info above

Nice car my favorite year what was the original color? And yes they did build'em I had one. Looks like the real deal the fender 442 numbers are in the right location (higher) due to it being a strip car.

I've one also, with an M20. It had a 3.23:1 rear in it originally., which I swapped to 3.42:1.

Beautiful car. The emblems are in the right place for the stripes right?

The stripes were for W-30 only. I love how every 68 painted has the stripes. The 442 emblems were pushed back from the factory about 3/4 of an inch just for stripe clearance. Wow...

thats not true. The W36 stripes were optional and available on any 442 for $15.80. It was a MANDATORY option on the W30 option package.
