Those look like the original Custom Polysteel radials.

That's probably the "I don't want to sell but my wife thinks I should" price.

Or it’s the “no low ballers, I know what I got” price.

Been looking at too many Gateway or Streetside motors listings, although Steetside would be asking $30k for it.

I hear you on "Dealer" flipper sites seems to have got out of hand with their valuation of inventory they have to try to make a buck on. I guess my take would be getting the price negotiated from the sellers starting point to what he/she can live with and makes sense to the buyer. Easy to buy a cheaper price car and end up in the long run sticking money and labor exceeding the purchase price of a good solid well taken care of driver car. My 2cents

If those tires are what you say they are, that's the first place the buyer is gonna spend his/her money!
Great looking car though. Too bad it doesn't have the p/w, p/l or probably power seat.
Looked at the craigslist site & did notice it has the gauge pkg. though.

$7100 Bought it, drove it home 1800 miles. Documented 29,000 miles. Beautiful condition all around. DX block. Put trunk struts on at home and new tires in Lansing to be safe. Never missed a beat. Everything works cassette, clock, meat-cooler AC. Amazing cruiser and 30mpg @ 75

So this is a diesel? The original ad has been deleted. Why the bringatrailer link?

Different car Glenn. I think he just used the thread to show the one he found and picked up in comparison possibly. Just a guess

Thanks. Love it. Highway cruising at its best. 1800 miles never missed a beat. I changed the oil/filter before leaving and put new tires on in Lansing because they were 20 years old. Turn key after every overnight stop. And, a really great deal given on BaT/excellent+ condition. Presumably, because of the diesel.
