I had a 1970 GS Stage 1 automatic. Heavy car, felt lazy around town but all hell broke loose when you stuck your foot in it. Like many others, I have a bruise on my *** from kicking myself for selling it.

I can very easily say that if I weren’t an Olds’ guy, I’d be a Buick guy. When my sapphire blue Custom Cruiser got creamed five years ago and the low mileage CC in sapphire blue had become unobtainium, I diverted to my current Roadmaster wagon for daily commuting. My favorite in the stage one lineup would be the Apollo white GSX with a stirring stick. Good gawd!!!😳. Enough to make any W30 fella blush!😊

Amen Funkwagon. I have owned so many GM cars. Many Oldsmobile's Pontiac's Buick's etc. I have always had mad love for GS cars. Super fast. Super strong cars. My 66 Riviera GS is one of my favorite cars that I have owned. I have a Sport Wagon because I like the 66/67 Buick wagons more than an Olds. I just like the looks and the interior more. I also love early big Pontiac's. Early Grand Prix's are the deal. Catalina's etc.

Compared to the crazy money that Oldsmobile's have been bringing lately I am very surprised about the price on that all original Stage One GSX. Not all GSX's came as Stage One cars for those not in the know. I don't know that car specifically I will do some homework. Original paint car too (And a white one)and it pulls less than some un-documented cars?
