Radiator on 88 olds cutlass supreme classic br.
How can i find out if my car still has the original radiator? I bought the car last year with only 17,000 on it and now sits with 20k. Any way of telling? thanks df

Still have the original radiator hoses? If it does, then it's likely it's the original radiator too. Nobody in their right mind would take out an OEM radiator without changing hoses on a ~35 y/o car. Unless they're an idiot.
Look on your SPID RPO sticker in the trunk for V03 (extra capacity) or V08 (HD cooling).
I don't have anything specific for an 88 as far as codes, but the 87 G-body uses either an FU with A/C, FB with V03, or FJ code with V08 (HD cooling) radiator. All 3 tube style. I would imagine since they used the same part number service radiators, the codes are probably the same. Also, they're brass with an angled cap, cap being an RC27, not aluminum core. Should be a tag on it somewhere between the radiator cap to the lower hose on the back side. Kinda like this:
