Radiator top plate question/fan/clutch

Looking for info on a top plate for a 1971 Olds cutlass S. the black one is what came originally on car. 4 blade fan and no shroud
i want to put a clutch fan on and shroud. The other red one has holes. Is that stock to have the holes in that location..?
It is sorta like they were drilled I can’t really tell. I am putting a 455 in

if not what is the correct top plate for fan shroud
what is the correct fan and what is the correct clutch for 1971

This is the other top plate for a 71. Note this is for a 4 core (thicker) radiator

The 3 core top plate looks almost exactly like the 4 core top plate except at the ends where rubber saddles are installed.

Both top plates you have pictured are for non shroud applications. I have this three core top plate for use with a shroud available below.

Personally I wouldn't spend money on a 3 core top plate. I'd upgrade to the 4 core plate and use the 3 core rubber isolators. Then a future upgrade to a 4 core is less of an issue. You still would need to install the lower 4 core saddles and buy the 4 core rubber isolators.

K sounds like my two options are original 3 core top plate or a
4 core plate with 3 core insulators

how about the correct fan and clutch PN’s?
