Rallye 350 's lets see them

Hey Firefrost, neato thread idea!
The other Rallyes are outstanding specimens; mine's still getting there however. Here are some specs:
- Found outside of Sacramentolast July; past the airport near the Sacramento River. Was in storage with brothers' Mopar muscle collection; was only non-Mopar.
- F85, bench seat, non-a/c, non-vent dash.
- 88k.
- 100% complete-drove car home after purchase (15 miles).
Eventually, the same guy who did the body/paint on my silver 442 will do the Rallye.
Oldspackrat,
The drop springs really made the car look boss! I may have to consider going that route.

Well, I'm not ready to do the whole car yet. But my paint/body guy (Bob) is insistent to at least address the small golf-ball sized spots of cancer behind each wheel (4 total). He's eager to fix them and shoot a coat of yellow primer until we dive into the rest of it. For some reason, Bob thinks that using gray primer would clash against the yellow...
I was surprised to see how the hood stripe was checking in such a unique pattern. I sure didn't think someone would deliberately go for that effect; but then again, some crazy designs could be had years ago.

1. Bright color...check!
2. Big, functional hood scoops...check!
3. Big rear spoiler...check!
4. Loud stripes and graphics...check!
5. Blacked-out grille...check!
6. Body-color bumpers...check!
7. Non-Chevy, Non-Ford, Underdog status...check!
The only thing missing is the whiney starter and the Road Runner horn
My first two cars in high school were 1975 and 1977 Cutlass Supremes. After high school, I lusted after a Rallye 350 for sale locally, but passed on it when my uncle talked me out of it. It is and always will be the "one that got away". The car was sold in Homeworth, OH in 1988 and now resides in a suburb west of Cleveland. I'd love to see the car again, if anyone knows the car. I wound up buying a 1968 Road Runner, which started a 25 year hobby with Mopars.

Hurst olds 73/74,
Yeah, really. The Rallye definitely kept with Mopar's non-sleeper theme of bold and brash-looking street thumpers.
If you look at the front shot of my Rallye, you'll see the red 71 Challenger (off to the left) that the guy was doing a nut-and-bolt resto; it was a 440/6 pack with a pistol grip 4-speed. It was immaculate.
The behind shot shows his red 64 Fury (on the left) that was destined to become a wedge clone; pushbutton auto and crossram Carters were the plan at the time. It was just as immaculate as the Challenger.
I know this is an Olds forum, but the caliber of his toys was top-shelf; non-Mopar folks would appreciate the quality.
