TIC TOC TACH?

I have located an original complete set with sending units, but the owner would like to trade 2 useable 455 cranks for it. No money, just cranks.
I was just curious if they were worth the cranks.

I personally would rather have the cranks, but my car is not original and I like my Autometer Tach in the dash better.

The 69 will not work in the 70-72 dash.
Not sure what the cranks are worth, but an original working set of gauges (the tic-toc-tach and the oil/temp/gas set) are worth $300-$500 depending on condition.
The aftermarket ones are a little cheaper but may not be 100% correct in appearance.

I bought some repop Rallye Pack gauges from an online company. They were $500, and I had to remove the lenses and repaint the inside reflector rings with sky blue paint so that I could actually see the numbers on the tach and the pressure/temp gauges.
I don't know why, for $500, they couldn't take the extra time to put the right color paint in the inside of the gauges to match up with the stock speed-o gauge.
Doesn't take too much work, but was just a little annoying.
Also, keep in mind that if you do a gauge upgrade that there are wires you'll have to cut and cap in addition to installing new sending units and wires.
