66 Jetstar 88
I have 66 Jetstar 88 2 door. The floor pans look ok, maybe few small holes from leaking roof when previous owners took vinyl top off. It's most trunk that should be replaced cuz soft. Now unfortunately, the floor pans and body panels for Oldsmobile 88's, but they do for some other gm b body fullsize cars. What I wonder if maybe pans made for like 66 Impala be close where with little modifications it work? I know it's not going to be exact match, but be easier that starting from scratch especially since I really don't have metal fabrication skills to do that. Any advice, and tips would be great appreciated. Thanks.

You’ve come to the right place. There should be some people here who know what could be welded in.
Dig around this site and look for threads with “floor pans” and/or “trunk pans” in the title or content.
The Jetstar is slightly whacky because it’s got big car mechanics with A-body drive train and brakes. So A-arms are like 88’s/98’s, but the engine and brakes may not be. I have a Starfire from ‘66, but it’s almost identical to a ‘66 Delta 88 with just some trim and body shape differences.
For the body work and replacement metal, look for GM B and C body cars across Olds, Caddy, Buick, Pontiac and Chevy. You’ll find something that will be close. Then it’s down to your trimming, cutting and welding skills. Of which I have _none_, but people here can guide you. It’s doable, but I suspect it’ll be slow going initially.
