Welcome from Massachusetts, John. I recommend Fusick Automotive to start. You can google them and look at their catalog for your car. They are in CT, so the SH will be less than most places in the US. It really depends on what you need. Frank

Servus John und griaß di im besten Forum rund um Oldsmobile!

http://www.fusickautomotiveproducts....nts.asp?dept=9 und www.rockauto.com sollten alles für dich und deinen 88 haben.

Service Manuel is highly recommended

re shipping to Germany: both are shipping to very fair rates to Europe, especially Rockauto with Fedex within a view days. Pats like body panels if required I would not directly ship to Germany. For those and have parts I use a service like usa-importservice.de. He has a ware house un Humble, TX - shipping to TX is very often free of charge within US - and than once a monthe there is at least 1 container shipped to EU and than he distrbutes the parts.

It would help to know exactly what parts you need. There is no one vendor who sells everything, and given that these cars are not that popular to restore, not everything is available either. Reproduction sheet metal does not exist, for example. Mechanical parts are hit or miss - engine and trans parts are easy, suspension and brake parts not so much. Specifically, you'll have trouble finding upper ball joints, the steering center link, and brake drums. Your car came with the Pontiac-sourced 8.875" rear axle and parts for those are available from a limited number of sources. The only source for original style interior items (upholstery and door panels) is SMS Auto Fabrics. Good luck.

I had good luck on E-Bay ;
1965 oldsmobile | eBay

Be careful when buying steering linkage parts .
Oldsmobile used steering parts from two different manufacturers . Saginaw and TRW .
The easiest way to tell what you have is to look at the bottom side of the pitman arm . ( The one on the steering box . )
If the number forged into the arm is a seven digit number , starting with 56 , then it is a Saginaw steering . ( Ex 56XXXXX )
Anything else is TRW . ( AKA " alternate " . )

John / OldsmobileDynamic88,
A lot of people on this site know that I have some American / quality parts for your car... Rather than using the Chineseum reproductions....
If you need or want, you can write / email me here....Sorry, I have NO sheet metal....
Craig.....
For example, I have both Center Links Brand New....
