Q-Jet overhaul kits / electric choke kit Parts vendor
There are several Q-jet parts vendors on the internet I am looking for quality supplier that offers a complete rebuild kit w/float / jets , also looking for electric choke conversion ... I am rebuilding the Quadrajet #17058253 800 cfm that came on my 1978 Delta 403" , which I'm replacing with a 455" moderate build approx.400HP.....the carb. currently does have and electric choke but I want to convert it to full electric - no hot air tube.

I bought an electric choke from Amazon and a rebuild kit from NAPA. I have never seen a kit that included floats but new ones are a good idea. Here is a link for the electric choke. I have not installed mine yet.

You likely won't find jets in a rebuild kit, but they are available as a package with an assortment of different sized jets. The same thing with power piston springs.
As for rebuild kits, I just bought one from a popular online QJet source and compared it to the Echlin kit I got from NAPA several years ago. They were almost identical, so I would have no hesitation recommending the NAPA kit. You can get a float and electric choke from NAPA as well.
This is another source for kits and jets, springs, etc.

I use www.quadrajetparts.com. They're out in Columbia, NJ.

Nearby in Granby, Ken can take care of you and has his new book with tips and tricks.

You don't need an "electric choke kit". You just need the electric choke thermostat from a mid-80s Qjet on a Chevy 454. These are readily available at RockAuto. I use Standard Motor Products P/N CV329. It bolts in place of your hot air choke coil.

I pulled one from an 80s era 307 in a salvage yard. Cost me $7 for the heater coil, then $4 for the connector pigtail at the local auto parts store.
And be sure to remove the cover gasket so the electric coil has a good ground to the carb.
