What Wheels and Tires would you get for '66 Dynamic 88 vert?

Guys-
Got my '66 Dynamic 88 about 10 months ago (my first classic) and am thinking about changing out the wheels (15 inch). I've seen some pics of other '65-'66 Dynamics with upgraded wheels and can't believe the difference in the overall impression the car makes. Looking at SSI or Crager SS super stock but open to any other suggestions.
Thanks for your help
Marc

I was really digging these on a 66 Delta hardtop. You gotta get the stance right, though.

I spent time and photoshopped the rims onto my car and removed the lower trim. I like those wheels, a lot

I vote cragars. I had 15x7's (15x7 reverse on rear) on my 68 Delmont 88 convertible- looked awesome.

I didn't think you could get SS I wheels in the 5x5" bolt pattern?

FWIW, I really like the Cragar SS. I think I will get them for my 71 98 eventually. You just have to make sure the offset and backspacing is correct. I believe these are the ones that fit on the B/C body:

Here's my '65 Jetstar 88 with 18s in the front and 20s in the rear. The wheels are American Racing Torque Thrust II.

Damn. What is the backspacing and tire size/brand? More importantly, how did you get that stance? Bags?

What an awesome looking vehicle. Well done.

Thanks Red Delta...The tires are 295/40/20 in the rear and up front, they are 225/40/18. Goodyear Eagles, I believe. And yes, it's on air bags.

Never order custom wheels off what someone else's set up is when you are going to be close on clearance. Measure your own car and thank me later for the money you did not waste.

Nice looking rims! I think the 18's look great, not a big fan of 20's.

I don't think anything could look better than the wheels it left the factory with.
Unless you are powering it down a drag strip or want great handling - then don't start with a convertible! - nothing beats original for me.
I don't mind being in a minority of one, just my opinion.
