1970 cutlass no power to ignition
From time to time there is no power to the ignition switch when the key is turned and sometimes when the key is turned, the car just turns over but doesn't start after unplugging the battery and charging it. The car will start after a while it will continue to do the same thing it was doing before no power no start what you guys think it could be. Brand new neutral, safety switch brand new battery brand new ignition switch can't seem to figure it out.

Stock points or some other distributor?
The next time the car doesn't start, run a temporary jumper directly from the battery + terminal to the + terminal on the coil If it still doesn't start, the problem is in the coil or distributor. If it does, the problem is in the wiring.

WHICH MSD coil and distributor? How is it wired? And no, you do not have a generator in a 1970 Oldsmobile. Please post photos. We have no way of knowing how the car is put together if it's been modified, nor do we know the quality of the work.
