1970 Cutlass S hardtop rear glass

My rear glass in my 1970 Cutlass S W31 is not up to par. I am wondering if anyone knows if this glass is reproduced? If your car has tinted glass is the rear glass also tinted? Mine appears to be tinted. Alternatively does anyone have a really cherry used rear glass for the holiday hardtop body style they would sell? Condition is very important. Thx, Al

pretty sure not reproduced. yes, rear glass is tinted if the side glass is tinted. I'm not sure about the reproduction tinted glass, but the repro clear has a gray tint to it. If you aren't concerned about date codes, any 68-72 holiday coupe or sport coupe will work. I have a stack of glass, but do you really want to pay to ship that?

I guess it all comes down to condition and price. Im pretty picky so it would have to be a very nice tinted rear glass for a 442/hardtop style body. Have a look at what you have and let me know. Thx, Al

I have this trade going on for my 68 4.33 posi for his 3.42 posi. coming from your State to Calif. But is leaving on Wed. this week. Maybe I cold get him to bring to Canada for you. You better be quick. I only use US funds other wise the US back holds the M/O or check for 30 days. I'll take $100.

glass

Al

Randy put reproduction glass in the 69 442 that I sold him. Talk to Randy to see who he got the glass from.

Thanks for both suggestions. I will check both options. Nothing in Canada repro that I have been able to find. I have Devon checking his monster hoard as well. 😎

Pilkington was $450 shipped and I found the same part number on eBay for $209 shipping included for a tinted rear window! Auto City Classics 763-444-5880. I called them and they are legit. What a deal!

Randy emailed me. He used the same guys. He said they were set up at the Portland Swap meet. 👍

I have seen their product in Randy's car and was very impressed with the quality. Yes I recall he ordered it at the Portland swap meet.
