Before I start installing the rear interior on my car, could you double-check the order of assembly so I don't waste time installing parts that need to be removed to install others? I bought this car w/o the interior installed and w/ most of the parts missing. The car is a '68 Cutlass Supreme.

Start with rear qtr panel trim (vertical panels alongside package tray)
Rear package tray
qtr panel water shields
qtr panel trim assembly
rear arm rest and seatback-to-quarter filler panel
rear window handle
seat back
seat bottom
vertical windlace at front of quarters, butts up to rear of door
headliner
headliner perimeter trim (windlace?)

do headliner first...its easier to install without things in your way.

Package tray next, water shields, vertical windlace, side panels, seat back, rear carpet, seat bottom armrests etc. before you install seat, check that rear wiring harness is in place for rear speaker and pwr antenna cable and pwr trunk wire. .
