The Terrifying Toronado
Brian Lohnes does is usual, excellent job of telling the story
I really can't stand this site software. Copy and paste into your browser because the link tool sucks. They should just show as links, like literally everywhere else on the internet.

I have found that after you have copied the link and started your post here at C.O. by using the return to start a new line just enter a letter (I don't think space works) then use the paste the command and go back and delete the letter that you started your "sentence" with. It works for me every time. Good luck. Thanks for sharing the info too.

If I remember correctly (reading about it in HR magazine) the HHO car used a portion of the frame as a radiator/coolant holding? Yes the article did not mention cooling the TT.

So it looks like the hole in the timing cover at the top was for that extension on the camshaft to drive...what? I cannot figure that out.
BTW
Flemming, I also hate autocorrect, hate using my phone ot go to the interweb.

Cam driven fuel pump. I reproduced the timing covers.
The story I have chased down is the car was sitting at the dealership in Provo, UT.
Dennis Mothershed knows of a guy that got a intake manifold and timing cover ( shown) off of a two engine frame in a junkyard in Iowa a while back.
I know it was not the Hairy because that was scrapped in MI.
I have photos of the manifold and timing cover sitting together.
All stories and no written proof so....
I do have over 100 photos of the Terrifying Toronado detailing the car.

thanks for clarifying that for me. I wanted to say that but wasn't sure so didn't. I guess a front driven fuel pump is necessary because of the configuration with the backwards headers peventing the original location. Any other reasons?
