Door Panel Question
Hey all,
So, the vacuum-formed vinyl on the lower door panels of my '75 98 are, unsurprisngly, cracked and flaking apart. While I could likely have an interior shop repair them, I had a random thought: Would the lower door panels from a same year Cadillac sedan DeVille fit?
From what I've seen, all C frame cars from this era used the same two-part door panel design with only mild aesthetic differences between them (The Buick Electra, for example, uses the exact same lower door panels as the same year Olds 88 and 98). In theory, if they're the same shape and the door handle cutout is in the same place, they should be direct replacements.
I'm definitely curious if anyone else on here tried this and if so, what the results were.
