I think the "D" at the end of the style number means it IS a deluxe. and I know that mid year in 54 they dropped the pillar on the hardtop model and it was called the "98 Holiday Sedan" .....someone has better info on this, it's just really early/late =P hang in there -- post some pics of the car please =)

You have a 1954 Ninety Eight 4-door sedan style 3069D. DX indicates a Deluxe and generally all that means is power windows and possibly power seat.

Interior TR 91 is "dark gray nylon pillow tuft weave with light gray nylon bolsters"

PNT 22-60 is 22 Flare Red with 60 Polar White roof or two-tone.

I can't find anything on the U2 accessory code.

Brandon, the Holiday Sedan appeared for 1955. You could still get a four-door post sedan as well.

Thank you guys.
So the X on the end of the Style No. says is a Deluxe and this only says is a full loaded 98 4 Door sedan, right?
My 98 missing only three options ( Electric antenna, Autronic eye, Hydraulic Window lifts)
bdub217, for pic's klick on my user name, album.

I know that my eyes are old, but the ACC Code looks to me to be N2-T. It might be a K, but definitely is not a U.

Dave,
Your eyes are not the problem. I was actually replying to Monaco's question. He started this thread, and while looking for the answer it somehow went off track. Please scroll up a little, and view the Red trim tag. It lists U2 (which is for a power seat).

Stocki26,
Try rpo.com its not the best site, but can provide some insight to N2.

On this site the N options start with "N03?"

Yes, I noticed that and wondered if it was a typo or not?

I know that site is not the best. It's better for later years, but some codes carried over. When I had my 1955 98 I compiled an RPO list from different locations.

The best place to find accessory codes is the dealer sales order book. It shows all accessories available, lists them by name, and corresponding code. I have one for my 1962 which still has some codes from the 50's listed correctly.

The ACC codes on the 2-tone green '53 above are K2 & T. K2 is for Luxury Lounge Cushions (foam rubber padding for the bottoms AND backs). T is for E-Z-Eye tinted glass.

The U2 on the red/white '54 is for the 4-way electric seat. 6-way didn't come out until '56. The 2 way power seat was hydraulic.

Thanks Guys,
you are right!
U2 is a 4-way electric seat ( forward - backward / up - down)

Just a suggestion: Take a look up under your rear seat bottom for a "Build Sheet".
It should list all the options that came from the factory on your Oldsmobile.
