1968 Olds 98 front end lower than rear

My 1968 Olds 98 Convt from the pictures you can see the front end is lower by 2.5 inches compared to the rear. This is measuring the bottom of the chassis near the rear wheels with the same chassis near the front wheels. At the rear it measures 10" and in the front 7.5 inches.
Is this normal, or have the coil springs in the front sagged and need to be replaced?

Or...have the rear springs been replaced with taller ones or spacers used? Hopefully a member can supply some ride height measurements/specs.

'68 98 a super nice car!

Good luck!!!

I would bet your front springs are worn out… but always go by the CSM… here is a screenshot. Lots of variables (tire size/pressure/ fuel level/etc) but the chart makes it look like your rear measurement is in the ballpark and front may be low. I’m not by my 68s now but will look tomorrow. Hope this helps, Dave
