'55 98 Holiday in Nice, France

Well, here goes, my first post in this forum. I'm almost through a ground up restoration of my one owner 98 Holiday that I acquired in LA. I live in Nice, France, so my biggest headache is getting hold of parts but I'm eventually getting there. Just the interior to finish now. I'm trying to re-use the original coral leather facings and this is proving to be by far the most difficult aspect of the restoration. Purists might not approve of the American Racing wheels but they do add more rubber to the road and fill out the arches nicely. I do have the originals. The build quality of the car is superb. Light years ahead of anything built this side of the pond in the 50s! Looking forward to summer cruising along the Riviera between Cannes and Monte Carlo! The color is the original off white, not green as in some of the photos!
