battery tray and hold-down

battery tray and hold-down

Another nagging problem I'd like to finally deal with after 20 years with my 1966 Ninety Eight: I have no battery hold-down hardware. Been using a rubber strap, but it doesn't keep the battery very stable. Looks like I could use a new battery tray, too. But don't see this stuff available anywhere.

Solutions, anyone?

Did you check Fusick or Kanter? You can always get a generic one from the parts store.

I tried Fusick and didn't see anything the first time. I just looked again and found both the tray and the hold-down kit, the latter deep into the pages of my search. A bit pricey. Will look into a generic one as well.
