67 Delta 88 (Free+ Freight or pick up)
Hi, I'm Rob and I'm new here. I created this account to try to share some parts. I've got a 67 Delta 88 2 door in really rough shape in northern AR that I'm about to scrap. It's been in the woods since the early 80s and honestly there is not much on it of value. But it has some glass, some trim, maybe something else someone may want. I'm not trying to make money, this is not a for sale post. I'm offering up parts to anyone who needs them before I haul this car to the scrap yard. I'll post some pics below. I'm not familiar with this forum so I may need to host them so give me some time. So if you see a part you need for your car let me know and if it's feasible I'll ship it to you for cost of shipping. Meaning a door, fender, or the roof we will need to discuss how to get it to you. A wing vent I can UPS at your cost.
Again I'm not trying to make money here. I just can't scrap an antique without asking first. I'm a car guy, I have a 69 Cadillac Coupe deVille and a 76 bronco. I get it, these parts are hard to get sometimes. There may be a guy searching high and low for some trim piece on my junker.
Sorry if I posted in the wrong place, hope a mod does not delete this as I want all the Olds guys with a 67 Delta to have the opportunity to pick something off this before I scrap it. If you are close to Northern AR and want something let me know and you can come pull it yourself!
Thanks and hope this makes some guy's day. Message me for parts.
My brother bought this car in the early 80s for the engine and bucket seats to put in hid Delmont 88. If you have seen Delmont quarter glasses with Lead Sled etched in the windows, that was his car back in the day! Car has been in the woods since.

If the horns are there, and you're able to confirm they work, I can use them.
If you leave the harness connections on them and cut the wires as far away as you can from the horn, that will give you an easier way to bench-test them.
Pad with some crumpled newspaper and send in a USPS flat rate box?
Keep me posted when you're able.
We're all appreciative to old car fans like you, who can't bear to see something that might be useful, wasted.

Yeah the slacker OP (me) is not on here very often but I do get an email if someone posts, and today is the first in over a year. I have not scrapped the car, it is still sitting in my field exactly as pictured. All the ones around it have been scrapped but this one has some parts i know people want/need. Sorry I have been slow at pulling the parts people have asked for. I'm pretty busy. What I would really like is for some Olds enthusiast to come haul the whole car away. it is located near Marshall AR.
Joe wants the steering column
Toro wants the horns, I have not tested them, they were exposed to the elements for 30 years but they are there.
Scant wants a front fender
A gentleman PMd me today about bucket seat brackets.
I'll make it a point to get this stuff removed within the next month or so, but I travel a lot for work so I don't make it to the place very often.
