1983 98 Regency
Hi I'm new to this site. My father has a 1983 98 Regency and looking for interior upper door trims on both front doors. I have enclosed a sample picture of what they are. I am hoping someone can help me find them as this would be the best present I could give him. He is the original owner and takes it to shows all the time. Thanks to all that can help me.
Its the woodgrain trim on top as shown in the photo.

The only place you're going to find these parts for your car is a salvage yard. You can get vinyl wood applique to put on the trim if it's structurally sound. This is the same stuff used on station wagons of the 70s and 80s and it's used in the interior of cars in the same era.

^^^ This. Applique technology has come a long way and there's almost nothing that can't be done now.
I had a 1983 Regency Brougham (4 door) and it was a really nice riding and driving car.

1983 Regency
Hello Pzza: Welcome to the site. I had a great 84 Regency and enjoyed it a bunch. "Couch on Wheels"..... The cars are getting hard to find in the junk yards now. The plastic wood grain fades very bad in the sun and it might be hard to find a nice one. The one shown in the photo looks good, so I am not sure what is bad on it? Best bet might be to use some new applique as recommended by Allan. Maybe you have some deep scratches in the door panel? Best of luck with the 98. Regards, Trent in Los Angeles
