I have a couple antenna masts but not a full assembly.
From what I remember, the spear tip I believe was for am/fm, the plain oval tip was for am only? But both were oval and not round. Maybe someone else may have a better memory than I do and confirm this?

!968 + 69 used the same antenna mast + body. I assume you are talking about a front antenna + not power rear antenna. Convertibles used the same antenna as coupes. 1970 up Olds chaged to an antenna built into the windshield. It's true what pogo69 says about the shape + style of the mast. Those antennas are pretty expensive now (100.00++) and are hard to find. You can buy a replacement mast on ebay with a small ball on top for 20.-30. if you are not real fussy. Nobody in Finland will know the difference. You really need to post a pic of the antenna body that's on the car now before you spring for a mast and shipping. Most antennas have been changed over the years.

All had the spear tip and eliptical mast originally. You should say if you have the body or need just the mast. The bodies are getting hard to find, also. Most of the ball tipped replacements are eliptical. I run a ball tip eliptical on my car and only use the spear tip for judged shows. They are taller and can bend easily if you drive fast on the highway. Not to mention someone can steal it in like 2 seconds w/o tools!

mrolds69,
I think I know the car in your avitar and Im pretty sure I can put a face to it? Was your name Ed? You were at seven springs as a judge if Im not mistaken? I spent some time talking to you and your wife about whats correct and incorrect on my car. She was signing to you some of the things I was saying? If Im wrong then I feel foolish. but as I said in my first post, my memory is not as good as it used to be.

Anyway, these are the antennas I have. The spear tip is not for sale, the other one is. I am running the button tip elliptical most of the time, and the spear tip for shows.

I have one extra button tip that I'd be willing to sell.

Hey Tony...right...we met at Seven Springs, I'm deaf, my name is Frank, and I was judging. We were in the Senior class there. I remember looking at your car and admiring your orig top rad hose in PA. We also saw you at Sturbridge. I'm doing the same as you, running a replacement mast except for point shows. Didn't mean to steal this thread from Delta88conv455 in Finland! The replacement mast that Tony has for sale is what I was talking about before. Mine has a ball tip, but attaches like the original. I've see a few different replacement mast styles. This is the first I heard of Fusick repro-ing the spear tip. It's still really expensive for a mast, and...like I said...in Finland nobody will ever know.
