Difference between "multi" & ""quote"?

Difference between "multi" & ""quote"?

Can you please tell me the difference between the two choices in replying to posts. Thanks..

Quote is for quoting 1 post, Multi-quote is used for quoting multiple posts. To use it, you would click on the Multi quote button on the initial posts you want to quote, however the last post in the group you need to click on Quote. For example with 4 posts you would like to quote, the first 3 click on multi for each one, but click on quote for the 4th.

Except the top one is messed up in your post. You need a closing bracket, ], after the word QUOTE at the end of the citation.

I kinda get this but how do people just take certain parts of a quote ? i see it all the time but not sure how it works for instance if i just want to quote a sentence out of someones long post?

Copy/Paste the select statement then use the quote marks to insert the select statement:

Nail the quote button, it will pop up in a reply, and delete all you don't want.
