Kent Moore tool catalogs on line
I just stumbled across a trove of Kent Moore tool catalogs on the Internet Archive: Digital Library site. The available catalogs include 1948, 58, 62, 64, 70, 74, 76, 85, and 89, so something for everyone. These are invaluable when trying to figure out what a Kent Moore tool on ebay is for. Note that to download a PDF of the catalog, simply scroll down and click on the download option. Enjoy.

Joe,
Great find. That’s fun. Such obscure tools.
A few weeks back I posted a PDF or 2 with their ads as-pitched to Olds Dealers in 1966. From what I could tell by their ads it was a company of engineers making special tools for special challenges among at least GM products.
Anyone know if Kent-Moore also made tools for Ford or Chrysler? I wouldn’t be surprised.
Over the years you learn that Trico (the wiper blade / vacuum company) worked with all 3, as did Perfect Circle on Cruise Controls. And I think the hazard flasher company too. Until GM just built hazard flashers into their cars in the late 60’s/early 70’s.
Many thanks,
Chris

Chris, I know K-M made special service tools for AMC and John Deere in addition to GM. I also think they made tools for foreign cars. Ford's version of K-M was Rotunda, and I believe Chrysler's was Miller.

I could fill in the gaps for a lot of years not listed. Ahh the precious fleeting resource of time. Also, Burroughs, Snap-On, New Britain, Hinckley Myers, others focused on factory specified tools.
