2004r Torque converter fluid question

I installed a 2004r in my 65 olds 442 and I did not add transmission fluid to the tourque converter as I should have. I flat out forgot to do it. When I run the car will the transmission circulate into the tourque converter or do I need to do something to get fluid into it?

The tranny will pump into the converter. Note that you'll need to fill more than usual, but the same warnings apply - put in too much before the first start and it'll spurt out the fill tube. Add a little, run the engine a few seconds, check, add, etc etc.
