Losing fluid through the dip stick tube

I have a TH 400 with a TCI 3500 stall converter. It has just been put in the car after sitting for a couple of years. After a few miles of driving it has a tendency to blow fluid up through the dip stick tube.

Had one doing that several years ago seems like the vent tube was blocked, the trans built internal pressure and forced fluid out the tube. Since it was sitting a couple of years i would check it first.
