Do they make a patch panel for this?
1972 Oldsmobile Cutlass Supreme.
I need to replace the trunk seal but that's no big deal since i found it here on rockauto for cheap: https://www.rockauto.com/en/moreinfo...1221691&pt=793
Problem is that below the gasket the metal is rusted away in an area.
The following picture is for illustration purposes regarding where the rust is located at. It's NOT my car.
I checked rockauto.com, opgi.com and yearone.com but did not find a patch panel.
Do they make one and if so where can i buy it?

To my knowledge nobody makes that. It should be pretty easy to find some used sheet metal. If that is the only area it would not matter what body style it came from since it short and straight. It could come from several year models.

It would help to see a picture of yours...but-
1. I imagine any straight line in any place around your trunk could be used to fix that area.
2. If it's JUST the bottom of the channel, weld in a strip of sheet metal. No one will see it.
