Brake Booster bloody knuckles (1971 olds)
Replacing Brake booster (1971 cutlass)
I tied using a wrench (9/16) and no luck, not enough leverage. I heard a universal socket may work but I need to use a longer 9/16 socket and there is not much room.
Thoughts?

Yeah, it's tight in that area. Use a box ended wrench and a small hammer and tap the end. The 'impact' effect should break it. Also you can douse the area with something like PB Blaster first and let it soak beforehand. Welcome to CO.

Sounds like a job for one of those 'new' racheting box-end wrenches from Sears, or wherever! I've put a pipe over the other end!
I also have used a combination wrench, box end over the nut, and stuck another box end over the open end, for leverage, and to get big hands out of the way!
All I have are 6-point, [both sockets and wrenches] as old, rusty, nuts and bolts are very easy to round-off with a 12-point!
Think if that happened behind the booster!!!
