Anyone interested in my Oldsmobile's?

We're looking to let go of two Oldmobiles that have been sitting on the property in Fredericksburg, Virginia for years.
  • 1980 Oldsmobile Ninety-Eight Regency
  • 1977 Oldsmobile Delta 88 Royal
Anyone interested or know of the most lucrative way to pass them on? Thanks.

Pretty cool! I suggest you respond with an asking price for each car then I can move the thread to the For Sale forum. Also, list them for sale on Offer Up

Do they have good titles? If not, it may be quite difficult to sell them. Good luck!

Oh awesome! We would like to list the Ninety-Eight for $600 just because of it's condition, but will definitely consider other offers. The 88 we would love just $300 for.

The 77 may have a 403, and the 80 might be a diesel. The more pictures you can post and the more info you can give the better your chances of selling them. I think the asking prices are about right.

Thanks @Olds64 , very helpful. To anyone interested, here are the VINs and a few more photos. The Ninety-Eight was parked at some point ~20 years ago because my grandmother didn't want to pay car insurance, but it was running fine at that point; she thinks if it has a battery it will start. Unfortunately, they have already promised the Royal to someone else for $250, but if someone would make a bigger offer I will mention it to them to consider it.

Find the closest scrap yard and ask them what the going price is on scrap ($/lb.). I think you'll be waiting a long time to find somebody willing to give you a few hundred bucks for either one of those. You should be able to pull $200-300 each in scrap.

According to the VIN number the yellow Delta 88 is a 350. Here's a good thread on IDing a 403.

Don't forget to post them on FB Marketplace. Of course, if you can get either car to crank; let alone run, you'd be able to ask more for them.

The yellow Delta has Chev rally wheels, probably 15 x 7's from a seventies Monte Carlo. Would think those could be worth something to the right Guy. Worth taking off, if there's not terrible bead rots.

Was this ever answered?

If there's no title, then unfortunately scrap/parts may be your only option.

The OP never PM'd me mentioning if they have titles or not. He hasn't logged on for nearly a month. If someone is interested in them as a project or for parts they should email the OP. Might get lucky.
