Looking at Monroe shocks part numbers 5801 and 5802. Few questions, these are for a 62 on up Pontiac Grand Prix can I assume they will fit? There are other brands like Gabriel that show what I believe are pretty much stock replacements. I would like something a little more heavy duty/performance type product.

When I first got my 63 I replaced all the springs and shocks with the heavy duty versions from Fusick plus a full front end rebuild. I liked the stance and the car cornered very well, but they were quite stiff, like a 60s musclecar. My experience with Monroe stock replacement shocks on other cars has been good but they are definitely not high performance.

I saw those on Rock amy order those if I cannot locate something better. So Pontiac will not fit,
