Classic USA Parts

I ordered a power steering pump from Classic USA Parts on 2-14-2024. They said that they had one in stock. Called back a week later to see if it had been shipped, and they told me that a core was sent out to the rebuilder. Still nothing. Called back last week on 3-13, the guy told me that he would check with his boss to see what's going and get back to me. Didn't hear anything from them. I called on Tuesday 3-19, and it went straight to voicemail, and said to leave a message. No beep, no way to leave a message. Tried calling several times again today, and got the same thing. I hope I'm wrong, but I think they might be having some sort of trouble. Is anyone else having issues with Classic USA Parts?

If it's been several weeks I suggest contacting your credit card company and denying any charges you made for that power steering pump since they're apparently scam artists.

As Jesse suggested, call your CC company ASAP to cancel/deny charges. Something is seriously wrong w/ this outfit. Hate to hear this stuff happening. Looks like their only presence was on FB.

Good deal. Looks like they began having issues far earlier than your placed order. Not sure how they (someone) managed an attempt to try to fill an order for you when they knew they were already in deep $hit. I'll just post what I found in case someone else happens to try to use them.

This is the reborn USA Part Supply that went out of business. I didn't realize that they had changed the name. A few weeks ago I was out in that area and took a drive past their building, just to see. The old lot of parts cars is completely cleared out except for a solitary mid-60s Caddy. There were a couple of cars in the parking lot, but otherwise it didn't look like a whole lot was going on. Frankly it looked pretty closed.

What really ticks me off about this, is that when I called ask about a power steering pump, I asked "so you guys are back open for business"? The guy said "yes we are". So you know he was lying through his teeth.
