New gas tank install

New gas tank install
I am trying to install a new gas tank in my 72 Supreme. What is the best order to install everything including the standpipe lines? Also, tried to manhandle the tank in already. It seems as though the sending unit hits the floor before I even have the bolts in....which look long, but in reality could be longer. Any tips are appreciated.

So I got the tank in. I used longer bolts from the HW store. It helps to bend the new straps into shape. However, I still have the issue of the sending unit pipes being tight against the floor. Any ideas here?
