Lightbulb Power Steering Pump Selection - Rack and Pinion

Afternoon All,

I am in the process of doing some major overhauls on my 72' cutlass supreme. I am looking to install the flaming river rack and pinion that recently fell into my lap. That part itself looks pretty straight forward. the issue I am trying to figure out is what aftermarket power steering pump will bolt up to a 350 rocket that has the reduced PSI a rack and pinion requires. Stock pump puts out roughly 1200 PSI while the rack likes 800-900 PSI. has anyone else done this conversion and setup a different type of power steering pump in the car without forking over the mega money flaming river wants for there pump?
any assistance would be much appreciated.

Thank you

You should be able to simply change the pressure regulation valve in the outlet port of the stock pump.
