A set of 4 used early 1960's Chevrolet 14 inch Wire wheel/Spinner wheel covers
A set of 4 early 1960's used Chevrolet 14 inch Wire wheel/Spinner wheelcovers in very nice condition.
$300.00 for the 4 wire wheel covers shipped to the continental U.S. (lower 48).
My Father dickered with the new car salesman for a set of these on a new Fire engine red 1963 Chevy Impala Convertible back in the day. When he traded the '63 off for a 1966 Impala he moved them to that car. In 1968 he bought a new Impala Custom Coupe and since it had fender skirts, he let the hubcaps go with the '66 Impala and that's the last time I saw them.
I always liked the look of those hubcaps so a number of years ago I bought a set of 4 and planned on hanging them on my new garage walls. Now that I'm retired, I've decided to sell them off to fund other things and hope someone has a vintage car to install them on (since odds are I will never get a '63 Impala).
Ask any questions you may have before you offer to buy them. Ask questions via a PM.
First unqualified “I’ll take them” posted in ad, followed by a PM gets them!
I DO NOT ACCEPT PAY PAL SO DON'T BOTHER ASKING!
USPS Money Order is the only accepted form of payment. See pictures of the actual hubcaps below. No returns
Cross posted!! so Earliest Date/Time stamps of any forum posts takes the item.
Thanks for looking! OLE442

I've posted on the Corvette Forum and an Impala Forum. Never heard of the AACA??
I could sell them easy on Ebay but, even though I have been on Ebay since 1999, I don't sell there any more d/t their seller unfriendly policies.
I also could sell them easier if I took pay Pal as payment but I do not like Pay pal's required information to receive funds. Some think that USPS Money orders can be a scam but are far less of an issue than Pay Pal IMO!
Most likely, these will adorn the wall of my garage after I finish up my 442 restoration.

I agree OLE442, I sold some parts not to long ago I took a guys check with his DL on it and it cashed. Then I shipped no issues that way for me at least. ( If people still have checks anymore that is)

I think USPA Money Orders are probably the safest. If somebody sends a counterfeit one then they are guilty of mail fraud. Kinda makes sense. I have done like you mentioned Rob and taken a check and waited until the check cleared before I shipped.

To me, a personal check is the less safe option (after cash) for the buyer because your check has all your account and routing info on it. Unless you're sure the seller is 100% legit, that is a gamble to me!
