So, I went to the salvage yard at lunch today. I got 2 tail lights off of a 98 for my 96. While I was there I saw a Toronado. It still had the blue SBO with 4A heads. That's a 350, correct? The Quadrajet was even still on the engine. It's not an XS but the bumpers are good. Lots of parts left. They're getting harder to find.

I didn't know all of the 77/78 Toronados had a 403.

1976 was the last year for a 455. 1977 and 1978 (1978) is the car at the yard in this thread all had MISAR controlled 403 V8 MISAR was the term for their new non vacuum advance distributor.

Computer took care of spark timing on these two years.
