1970 W30 engine detailing done

Pulled my engine bay apart without taking out the engine just to clean, detail and repaint..Thanks to Vader I now have the correct waterpump. Turned out pretty good. Took a while to paint bolts and all. I used VHT Satin black on the brackets, radiator top plate, front plate etc. I used oldsparts 455 blue on block, bolts and valve covers..Aluminum intake brake cleaner and soft steel wool cleaned it up nice.

Correct top plate.. 343 gear 4 speeds were not 4 core radiators.

before pic, yes, you have a sharp eye, this 3 core radiator top should not have a shroud. However it was added years and years ago, the mounted top shroud bolts are on the underside of the top plate without drilling through it. Works pretty darn good. It is a factory numbers matching shroud along with the correct numbers fan etc. I am the 5th owner, have talked to the original owner and second owner at length about the car.

Looking good
Pet peeve: tidy up your battery cables. I'd suggest Fusick or somewhere for a decent repro or check out https://www.batterycablesusa.com/?gc...RoClR4QAvD_BwE for some nice aftermarkets. If you do go aftermarket, step it up to 1/0 or 2awg. It'll be the cherry on top.
