Without even clicking the link I can guess which story that is.
BofA (Buch of A*******s) IS my bank, and I do hate them.
Late last year when rates were at a historic low, I tried to do a mortgage refi through them (they were ALREADY my lender). I had plenty of equity in my home, but still got an unbelievable run-around (guess they had no motivation, duh?). Finally I had enough; I went with a mortgage broker, who was able to give me even better terms than BofA offered, and who made the process quick and painless. Of course, the loan was sold immediately after I closed to...BofA!
