Rear windshield

Hello I was wondering if anyone can give any advice on where to get one for my 71 olds Cutlass? And would they be the same as the 442 model? Thanks guys!

Just googling "GM A-body rear glass" will yield many possibilities. Looks like any 2-door HT glass will work and it would be my guess that marque is not a consideration. Not sure about HT vs. sedan, but 2-dr HT would likely be most available anyway.

No difference for 4-4-2.

No difference for 4-4-2.

No difference b/n '70-'72 (and maybe 68/69 but not sure)442 (hardtop) and the OP's car (I assume it's the car in his avatar/pic and not a Supreme hardtop) but the second sentence above isn't correct at all.

There have been recent recommendations on this site to check with Auto City Classics for the glass.

This is what I was saying. Yes that's my car in the profile pic. But some were different depending on the model. This one had a slight dip to match the body line. It wasn't flat like the supreme.

Sorry, forgot to account for the Supreme roofline. Pretty sure there would be differences there. However, I still believe that body styles being equivalent there should be no difference between an Olds and a Pontiac and a Chevy. The websites I saw did not differentiate by marque.

I would contact a few vendors and ask questions.

Your rear glass is also MUCH larger than a Supreme rear glass.

There is NO OTHER GM Abody with the same rear glass as the OP's car....it's unique to the Olds "fastback" design (68-72). AKA the Cutlass "S" body style. Don't believe any of the generic statements/stuff that's on whatever site(s) you're referring to.

Okay, thanks. So does any '68-72 rear glass for that body style interchange?

Each division's A-body "fastback" style uses a different back window. Windshields and door glass interchange, but quarter glass and back windows do not. Yes, all 1968-72 Olds xx77 (Sports Coupe) and xx87 (Holiday Coupe) use the same back window.
