88's

Have to tell you, these pics are great/fantastic! They are a veritable "slice of time." I love the shot of the '49, not only for the car but also the story it tells about the post-war housing boom (Levittown).
I also like the '54 with the '59 Pontiac in the drive next door. Then there is the '62. Is that what we wore in 1962?
Great shots!

I love that '67 Delta 88 convertible, the '67 and '68 models had such distinctive faces on them. Someone around the corner had a Delmont sedan up until last year, but no whitewalls. My wagon was designated an 88 earlier in their run, and quit maybe when the last rear wheel drive 88 was made. I did have a 1959 Dynamic 88 flattop, didn't keep it long enough to get whitewalls, and a 1965 Jetstar sedan with whitewalls. I love the '62s from top to bottom as well, every line on them is perfect. More whitewalled 88s please! I love all those family pics too.

VERY NICE "All Hail the 88s!" (I just wish regular ol' or narrow white walls weren't so DAMN hard to find or buy anywhere... seems just a few years ago the Tire Salesman at least KNEW what you were talking about!! Now, they all just wanna sell me White Raised Letter Tires! LOL! Oh well; guess the Specialty manufacturers like Coker and Diamond Back will get more and more of our Biz!?
