I agree with that. 68/69 442 are the only ones I know were documented that way. Which 70 442s had a 336 from Fisher?
I'm always open to learn new things, but I haven't seen a cowl tag on a 70 442 that didn't have 344 on it. Lansing would be the only goobers I know that would do something like this if they did. They always did weird crap. The only 336 type stuff I've seen is in the stuff printed in the parts books. But I also take stuff I see in a parts book with a grain of salt sometimes. Note that these books were normally printed long before they built the first car. And they're not always correct. Because we all know there were countless thousands of 442 body tags in 1970 with 344.
If anyone has a documented 70 442 with a Cutlass code on the cowl tag, I would love to see one.
